Elasticated toggle ties for securing scaffold sheeting to tube & fitting and modular scaffold systems. The bungee loop passes through the eyelet in the sheeting's reinforced band and around the tube; the toggle locks it in place. No tools, no cutting, and they can be released and reused when the sheeting comes down.

Supplied in bags of 100, boxed 10 bags per box (1,000 ties). Direct B2B pricing with the bag price shown up front. Stocked in the EU.

Specifications

  • Pack size: 100 ties per bag
  • Box quantity: 10 bags per box (1,000 ties)
  • Application: Securing scaffold sheeting and debris netting to scaffold tube
  • Reusable: Yes — release and refit on the next job

Why elasticated toggles instead of cable ties

Sheeting and netting move constantly in the wind. A cable tie is rigid: it holds until the load exceeds the sheet's tear strength, and then the eyelet rips out. An elasticated toggle stretches with the gust and returns, absorbing the movement instead of transferring it into the material. On an exposed elevation that difference decides whether the sheeting lasts one job or five.

Cable ties also have to be cut off, which means a knife at height and a pile of plastic offcuts on the deck. Toggles unhook by hand and go back in the bag.

Fixing and use

  • Fix through the eyelets in the reinforced band, never through the plain sheet.
  • Tension evenly along the edge. Loose sections act as a sail and concentrate load at the remaining fixings.
  • Increase the fixing density on exposed elevations and at corners rather than pulling the existing ties tighter.
  • Inspect after every storm and after any lift adjustment, and replace any tie that has lost its elasticity.

Before you sheet a scaffold

Sheeting substantially increases the wind load transferred into the ties, standards and the building facade. A scaffold designed as open — or designed for debris netting — must be re-checked before it is sheeted, and extra ties are often required. Scaffold design in Europe follows EN 12811; in the UK, TG20 compliance sheets cover sheeted configurations.
